The Nextbase 622GW is a fully-fledged 4K dash cam with powerful features like image stabilization, Alexa, What3Words, and SOS emergency response. And given that you don’t want to be doing anything distracting with your hands or eyes while driving, this is one situation when voice control really is handy. This means you can tell the dash cams to start recording, as well as ask Alexa on other devices for directions, to play music, to give you news and weather updates, to make a call, and so on. The Nextbase 622GW dash cam comes in-built with Amazon Alexa assistance. If you're not bothered about an LCD screen and want a smaller dash cam, it may be worth considering one of the others on this list. The front unit especially is sizeable, which is partly due to the LCD screen. The camera units themselves are rather bulky, and can't be removed from their mounts. You also get some useful extra modes such as Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Super Night Vision, meaning you're always prepared no matter the weather and lighting conditions. ![]() This may well be more than enough for your needs, however, and it still looks pretty darn good. The rear camera isn't quite as high quality as that of the Thinkware U1000, being only Full HD rather than the U1000's slightly higher 2560x1440 resolution. You also get multiple bit-rate options and H.265 high-efficiency video coding. In terms of quality of the footage, its front camera is one of the best around, capable of capturing 4K UHD, utilizing its 8.29MP Sony Exmor R sensor. Read our full Thinkware U1000 review for more details Best for image quality It's a fairly large unit, and there are definitely smaller options available on this list, but if this doesn't bother you then it's highly recommended. Just stick it to your rear screen and forget about it.Ī suite of handy features like GPS, speed-camera detection, and average speed warnings make the Thinkware U1000 a tempting proposition for the vast majority of users. It's also a pleasingly compact and unobtrusive unit, so won't be distracting or get in the way. This is a setup with an optional rear camera it shoots 2K 1440p at 30fps, and does so through a lens with a generous 156-degree field of view, giving you a wide latitude for seeing what's going on behind your vehicle. Both are great, although opting for the lower resolution and higher frame rate might make it easier to see detail in paused frames of the footage, and also keeps the file sizes lower. It can record footage in UHD 4K at 30fps or 2K 1440p at silky-smooth 60fps. The Thinkware U1000 dash cam is a hugely impressive piece of kit that gets our top-spot recommendation. ![]() Fisher and Fisher found that less than 40% of 51Cr-labelled V 2 carcinoma cells were retained in a rabbit's popliteal node. Nodal involvement was suggested not to be an orderly contiguous extension, but rather a marker of distant disease. The Halstedian model with en bloc dissection as the guiding principle of cancer surgery lost ground when the systemic hypothesis was reintroduced in the 1960s. They found that tumour cell emboli are immediately trapped in the subcapsular sinus and do not spread to the next node for at least 3 weeks. Zeidman and Buss injected stained V 2 carcinoma cells into the afferent lymphatics of popliteal nodes in rabbits. Studying mesenteries of dogs and rabbits, Gilchrist saw no passage of carbon suspensions through any node after injections with varying pressures. To determine the barrier function of lymph nodes, several investigators injected inanimate particles or tumour cells into certain afferent lymphatics in animal models. The next logical step in the evolution of Virchow's theory was the introduction of the radical mastectomy by Halsted at the end of the nineteenth century. This important assumption led to the awareness that cancer could be cured at an early stage with adequate surgery, in contradiction to the Greek philosophy implying that cancer is the local manifestation of a systemic disease. Virchow, in the nineteenth century, formulated the theory that lymph nodes filter particulate matter from lymph. Numerous subsequent investigations elucidated the intricate lymphatic system. Bartholin was the first to notice the existence of a 'lymphatic' in 1653. ![]() “The first exploration was between good and evil in the landscape.” Color was peppered throughout to evoke emotion and symbolism, with playful pops and washes in the marketplace acting almost as an invitation to come wander the stalls. “I wanted it to be very simple,” he says. Erik Tiemens, a longtime concept design supervisor for Lucasfilm and Star Wars : Galaxy’s Edge, was part of the crew that traveled to Turkey and Morocco in search of real-world inspirations, personally shooting nearly 3,000 reference photos to help inspire those earliest iterations. The planet of Batuu and Black Spire Outpost started out just like any other Star Wars setting: as concept art. However, making something feel real in a movie and making something realistic that holds up to the naked eye and all five senses are two very different things. “We want our guests to feel like they’re in a new environment that also feels familiar to the world of Star Wars, but gives them a sense of adventure that they can actually make this world their own.” “ It really just looks so realistic,” says Kirstin Makela, Walt Disney Imagineering’s art director on the project. “Who has been living here? What have they done here?” “We try to give it that layer of reality, that history,” Chiang adds. The truth is, from the beginning, Star Wars storytelling has been grounded in reality, an attribute that helped the design team for the new themed-land now open at Disneyland® Resort and opening August 29 at Walt Disney World® Resort. But I really wanted to go there and visit that place. When I saw it in the cinema, it was amazing. “It reminds me of when I first saw Star Wars when I was 15. “Of all the Star Wars experiences, whether it’s a video game or a film or a themed attraction, this is one of the most challenging and the most fulfilling for me,” he says.
